Prada Group
What is Prada Group?
The Milan-based group behind Prada, Miu Miu, the shoemaker Church’s and, since December 2025, Versace. It is controlled by Miuccia Prada and her husband Patrizio Bertelli, is listed in Hong Kong, and had revenue of €5.72 billion in 2025, up 9%, its fifth year of growth in a row. Miu Miu was the star, with sales up 35%.
Why did Prada buy Versace?
To build Italy’s answer to LVMH and Kering. Versace adds a glamorous, maximalist house to Prada’s intellectual style, and Prada is betting that its management and new designer Pieter Mulier can turn Versace around.
Puig
What is Puig?
A family-controlled Spanish group from Barcelona, listed on the Madrid stock exchange since 2024. It is mainly a fragrance and beauty company, with revenue above €5 billion in 2025, but it also owns fashion houses: Jean Paul Gaultier, Dries Van Noten, Rabanne and Carolina Herrera. Its beauty brands include Charlotte Tilbury and Byredo.

OTB
What is OTB?
OTB, short for Only The Brave, is the Italian group of Renzo Rosso, the founder of Diesel. It owns Diesel, Maison Margiela, Marni, Jil Sander and Viktor & Rolf. Revenue was €1.7 billion in 2025, down about 5%, with Maison Margiela the strongest brand.

Is Hermès now bigger than Kering?
Yes. In 2025 Hermès, a single brand, had revenue of about €16 billion, more than Kering’s €14.7 billion across all its houses.
