Head to toe every look was in a statement red, Created by the in-house design team each look an interpretation of Ricardo Tisci’s work over his 12-year tenure. This collection was quite a tribute to Tisci’s almost glorious work and a poetic moment. Even though this was an interim collection it was much more than that, A wonderful archive and a collector’s dream.
Sharply tailored pants, knee-high red leather boots, refined sweatshirts were just some of the highlights here. References here were strong and omnipresent; Avant-garde, Romantic, Gothic, elements of streetwear and couture it had almost everything. Sleek elegant silhouettes and a deeply feminine aesthetic complemented with ruffles, leather, sequins, fur, and lace.
Titled ‘Givenchy Red’ the collection was true to its name; All in Red & All Givenchy.
