Croissants in New York: Ralph Lauren Spring 2019

by brownfashionagal

Models glided down the stairs at the Madison Avenue flagship store which was turned into Ralph’s Café where the guests were served an intimate breakfast. The girls walking with some smiles would remind one of the shows back in the 50s. Relaxed classic tailoring was a constant along with soft shapes and feminine silhouettes. This collection was a simple case of Classic Meets Contemporary. Though Ralph Lauren fans will immediately spot the sweet little references. Limited to black, gold and white; this collection reflects unspoken luxury. Mega wide trousers, military-style jackets, clean jumpsuits, sleek red carpet gowns and gold midi dresses were some statement pieces. The Ralph Lauren bar was set high here.
