ed something more modern and direct. The idea was rooted in strength, confidence, and seduction, but this version felt less like the timeless femme fatale and more like a Gen Z interpretation. It was interesting to see him aim for refinement while still holding onto the bold identity his brand is known for.
The collection opened with strong outerwear, including moto jackets reworked into short coat dresses and oversized shearling pieces that added volume and presence. Fur trims, executed through shearling, appeared throughout and gave certain looks a sense of drama. Some of these moments worked well, especially when balanced with cleaner silhouettes, though others leaned slightly flashy and lost some of the elegance the theme promised.
The satin tops were among the best pieces. They felt smooth, confident, and naturally sensual without needing extra embellishment. These were the moments where Smith’s strengths really showed. Tailoring also played a bigger role than usual. Velvet pinstripe suits, tuxedo-inspired shirts with built-in bow tie details, and structured jackets suggested a shift toward a more polished direction. It showed that Smith is interested in expanding beyond just nightlife dressing.
There were still moments that leaned into Smith’s more provocative instincts. Lace catsuits, exposed silhouettes, and heavily embellished pieces brought back his familiar energy, though a few of these veered into slightly gaudy territory.
Overall, this collection showed clear evolution. The mix of strong outerwear, confident tailoring, and sensual staples felt like Smith expanding his world.
