Chemena Kamali’s Spring 2026 collection for Chloé is a love letter to the brand’s history, told through a lens of color, charm, and nostalgia. It feels like a movie montage of fashion through the decades—there are touches of the ‘50s, ‘60s, and ‘70s, yet it all feels surprisingly fresh. Kamali captures that hard-to-pin-down feeling of nostalgia without making it costume-y. These are clothes you could imagine in a rom-com—the kind where every outfit has a story of its own.
There’s a playful energy here. The show opened with bright, floral looks that felt straight out of a vintage postcard: baby-doll dresses, puff-sleeved tops, and sarong-tied skirts. Kamali’s draping background shines through, giving even the simplest cottons a sculpted softness. Later looks brought in Chloé’s signature romantic ease—flowy blouses, floaty skirts, and dreamy layers that move with you. It’s all airy and spontaneous, like the Chloé girl just threw it on before heading out for coffee at Café de Flore.
Kamali clearly had fun mixing eras. The ‘80s references peek through with high-waisted skinny pants and power shoulders, while the gentle bohemian spirit of Chloé still lingers beneath it all. The palette moves from splashes of aquamarine and fuchsia to soft shades of sand and lemon, balancing exuberance with ease.
What makes this collection work is how it feels so alive. It celebrates Chloé’s roots without getting trapped by them.
