Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez made their Loewe debut with a burst of color and confidence. The Spring 2026 collection felt like sunshine—playful, sensual, and full of life. It was the kind of energy that says: we’re new here, but we know exactly what we’re doing.

The Proenza Schouler founders brought their sharp New York sensibility to Paris. What stood out most was how effortless it all felt. McCollough and Hernandez didn’t try to imitate Jonathan Anderson’s surreal touch, nor did they abandon it. Instead, they found a rhythm of their own.

There was clarity and warmth in everything they showed—from the glossy, sculpted leather jackets shaped like scuba suits to the towel-like 3D-printed dresses that shimmered under the lights. Every piece felt grounded in craft but alive with movement.

You could feel the designers’ excitement in the work. The Ellsworth Kelly painting at the entrance—a bold yellow and red composition—set the tone for a collection bursting with primary colors, playful layering, and texture you could almost feel from your seat. There were molded leather tanks, shredded leather jeans, and asymmetrical knits twisted just so. Even the accessories had personality, from the slouchy Amazona bags to the shiny plastic kitten heels that looked straight out of a toy box.

It was almost a perfect collection, their version of the Loewe woman was confident but not overdoneYou could sense a new chapter unfolding, and it looks like Loewe’s future is in very good hands.
