It’s always a pleasure to watch a Prada show, and this season felt especially intriguing. Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons went back to a more intellectual way of dressing, creating clothes that made you think without ever losing their beauty. The result was classic Prada with a twist – unexpected, off-kilter, and somehow a ray of sunshine without a hint of cheesiness.

The collection, titled Body of Composition, was framed as a response to the overload of today’s culture. Military uniforms opened the show, reimagined with jeweled gloves and ladylike bags, while skirts were patchworked, bubbled, or suspended in new shapes. It felt like Prada reworking the familiar into something freer, a little strange, and deeply modern.

Colors brought an undeniable vibrancy to Milan Fashion Week: pastel pinks, pistachio greens, and searing yellows glowed against the glossy orange runway. Embellished collars and jewel-crusted necklines caught the light and sent phones shooting into the air, proving that even in a collection about reduction and rethinking, Prada knows how to land a moment.

What stood out most was the sense of freedom. Bra tops that barely held form, skirts hanging from suspenders, dresses that floated away from the body, all of it played with what clothing can be and how it can feel.
