Collina Strada might have just delivered my favorite collection by the brand. It felt refined in its direction, thoughtful in execution, and clear in its brand signatures, which are becoming sharper with every show.

For Spring 2026, Hillary Taymour staged her runway on a Manhattan helipad at golden hour, with models walking in pairs—each one trailed by a “shadow.” The idea was both literal and conceptual: a bright look mirrored in an all-black version, lace masks and all. Taymour described it as a way of acknowledging the histories and systems that follow us, the darkness we can’t always ignore, while still choosing to move toward light.

The clothes carried that duality beautifully. Ballooned denim cargos, empire-waist tops, lace bodysuits, slip dresses patched with lace, and a standout blue plaid coat with intricate cutouts all played with volume and texture. Even with the heavy themes, there was joy woven in: pastel lilacs and greens, whimsical peplums, and playful accessories from crystal belts to Converse collaborations.

What made the collection feel so strong was how cohesive it was. Taymour’s experiments in silhouette and upcycling came together with a clarity that shows real growth.
