This Zuhair Murad collection, a love letter to Hollywood’s golden age, told through a lens of modern strength and sparkle. Inspired by screen icons like Rita Hayworth and Barbara Stanwyck, the collection reimagines the femme fatale not as a tragic figure, but as one who rises, reigns, and rewrites her own ending.
From sculpted power shoulders to soft, bias-cut gowns, Murad plays with contrasts — strength and sensuality, structure and fluidity. The palette is rich and moody: velvety browns, ivories kissed with gold, deep burgundies, and glimmers of blush. Everything feels intentional, emotional, cinematic.
Embroidery takes center stage as it always does with Murad but this time, it’s dialed up to baroque levels. Think pearls coiled like constellations, jewel-drenched faux furs, and gowns that shimmer like Oscar trophies. He even swapped the usual bridal finale for richer, deeper evening looks, letting quiet strength take the spotlight.
Murad also makes a strong ethical statement, using synthetic fur for the first time — sumptuous and heavily embellished, proving that glamour doesn’t have to come at the cost of compassion. At a time when couture often leans minimal, Murad leans in into drama and dreaminess.
