While this collection claimed to be rooted in the “ritual of dressing,” much of it felt more like a fantasy wardrobe for someone who spends their mornings contemplating their reflection in a perfectly lit boudoir.

Her signature codes of clean tailoring, flattering silhouettes, and a playful nod to masculine-feminine dressing were present but with a more instinctive and personal approach.

The collection showcased Beckham’s obsession with strong tailoring, though this time with a twist. Jackets had dropped lapels and were paired with stirrup trousers that elongated the legs. Trousers morphed into sandals, creating a seamless illusion of height. Rolled-up hems on blazers and minidresses added a sense of spontaneity, capturing the unconscious gestures we all make when adjusting our clothes. This theme of self-customisation continued in the silk dressing gowns transformed into evening dresses and the VB-monogrammed bathrobe reimagined as a pussy-bowed smoking jacket.

Beckham’s playful experimentation extended to accessories, with standout pieces like the jewellery box-inspired evening bag and Victoria Beckham Beauty’s perfume bottles cleverly repurposed as leather charms. Footwear was equally intriguing, with oversized Oxford shoes that featured built-in heel grips. Sharp knife like cutouts in pastel georgette dresses, added a sculptural dimension to the otherwise fluid silhouettes.
