Aptly titled “Laptop to Lapdance,” explored the duality of the modern working woman—balancing structure with seduction. Set in a fully realised office space, complete with whirring PCs and pole dancers, the show playfully challenged the boundaries of power dressing.

McCartney’s signature tailoring took centre stage, with oversized double-breasted blazers worn against bare skin, offering a subversive take on traditional suiting. Strong ’80s-inspired shoulders projected authority, while low-slung trousers and cinched waist dresses added a sensual contrast. The collection blurred the lines between corporate polish and after-hours allure, where sharp shapes met fluid draping.

Accessories elevated the playful narrative—PVC-like vegan stripper boots, faux fur coats paired with studious glasses, and chaps with chain details nodded to equestrian heritage. The collection’s commitment to sustainability remained at the forefront, with 99% of the pieces crafted from conscious materials like organic cotton, forest-friendly viscose, and innovative plant-based alternatives.

McCartney’s inspiration extended beyond the office, drawing from her parents’ wardrobes and rockstar glamour. Embroidered 70s tailoring, vegan suede, and recycled denim referenced Paul and Linda McCartney’s iconic style. The collection moved effortlessly from day to night, with off-the-shoulder knits, batwing dresses, and modern tuxedos transitioning into evening wear.

In true McCartney fashion, the finale left a lasting impression—guests were invited to take home branded office supplies, reinforcing the playful spirit of the show. “I want women to wear that suit to a club,” McCartney quipped backstage.
