Inspired by a playful “what if” scenario where men no longer exist, Roseberry asked: how would women interpret traditionally masculine symbols?  The cowboy, the gunslinger, the outlaw—these symbols of rugged masculinity were transformed into powerful statements of female strength and autonomy. “This was about how, in a world where women dress for themselves and other women, they would reinterpret these traditionally male symbols,” Roseberry explained.

Gigi Hadid opened the show in a striking black bow-legged pantsuit paired with Western-style stiletto boots, immediately setting the tone for a lineup that married masculine strength with feminine magic. Tailoring took centre stage, with oversized suit jackets featuring exaggerated 1940s shoulders and nipped-in waists, a nod to old Hollywood reimagined through the female gaze. Leather pants with corset-style lacing and velvet-tied viscose knit dresses echoed the collection’s tough-yet-tender narrative.

The accessories were just as captivating. Chunky shearling jackets, hand-tooled leather handbags, and big-buckle belts worn in multiples channelled Roseberry’s Texan roots, while surrealist touches like trompe l’oeil belt buckles and knuckleduster rings shaped like gold fingers added a playful edge. Even the house’s signature gold hardware was swapped for burnished copper, lending warmth to the otherwise moody palette.

Textures played a key role, with satin ribbon dresses undulating over curves and all-over sequined gowns clinging to the body, offering a sensual contrast to the rugged Western motifs. Standout looks included a belted shearling-collared jacket, a shimmering bugle-beaded pajama set, and a velvet jacket with shoulders broad enough to slice through a saloon door.

Roseberry also cleverly “industrialised” some of his couture techniques for ready-to-wear, ensuring the magic of Schiaparelli’s atelier translated into commercially viable pieces.
