This was a meditation on femininity itself. It questioned how femininity is perceived, shaped, and manipulated, using fashion as a language to explore power, nostalgia, and self-expression.
The show was built around the idea of constructing form around the body rather than forcing the body into a predefined shape. Curves were suggested rather than dictated, appearing in the drape of a satin dress or the careful folding of a coat. The silhouette was deliberately unstable—blazers slipping off shoulders, skirts hovering between structure and fluidity, layers peeled away to reveal what’s underneath.
There was also an exploration of intimate dressing—bras and undergarments weren’t hidden but rather integrated into the looks, not as an act of exposure but as a reclaiming of control over the female form. The cone bra, exaggerated and architectural, became a sculptural force, reshaping the way the body was perceived in motion. Pointelle knits, bias skirts, and satin slips played with transparency, hinting at delicacy while remaining grounded in strength.
The color palette was as diverse as the silhouettes, ranging from muted earth tones—mustard, olive, camel—to more dramatic hues like royal purple, seafoam green, and acid yellow. Textures played an equally important role, with felted wool, cotton satin, and silk knit giving the collection a tactile richness that balanced the playful proportions.
Chunky brooches, layers of gilded bracelets, and pearl-studded socks turned everyday basics into statement pieces. The signature Miu Miu schoolgirl aesthetic was present, but more grown-up this time—thigh-high wool socks paired with prim skirts and polished handbags.
Miuccia Prada’s message was clear: in uncertain times, femininity remains a powerful force. It can be redefined, subverted, celebrated, and ultimately, it belongs to the wearer.
