Named “Leather Dandy,” the collection was an exploration of equestrian and biker aesthetics, seamlessly blended into a refined and wearable wardrobe. A cropped quilted jacket, belted high-waisted leather pants, and sleek riding boots set the tone for a lineup rooted in craftsmanship and subtle fetishism.
True to Hermès’ legacy, leather took center stage. The silhouettes were sharp yet effortless—high-waisted trousers, quilted vests, and rigid-cut blazers all emphasized precision tailoring. The dominant black palette, spanning deep charcoal to jet black, was punctuated by lime green, creamy taupe, and soft browns, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to timeless sophistication.
Vanhée’s signature layering was present throughout. Long wool coats were draped with the ease of a scarf, chunky sweaters were casually slung over shoulders, and sleek leather shorts peeked out from beneath floor-length dusters. Even the accessories made a statement—tiny “petit sacs” were tucked under arms, while ergonomic saddle bags with oversized silver hardware completed the looks.
Functionality met luxury in surprising ways. Coats unzipped into blankets, turtlenecks featured hidden zippers for customizable styling, and marbled prints turned out to be meticulously hand-painted. Each piece felt like an investment, designed not just for the season but for a lifetime.
It was a collection that didn’t demand attention but commanded it with confidence.
