This collection is a masterful blend of history, mythology, and sustainability, drawing inspiration from the work of archaeologist Marija Gimbutas. Gimbutas’s studies on matriarchal societies and goddess symbolism are woven into the very fabric of the collection—both literally and figuratively.

The designs celebrate feminine strength through motifs like spirals, snakes, and chevrons, echoing ancient cave markings and goddess figurines. A standout piece is the cashmere shearling coat adorned with bold black lines, reminiscent of prehistoric art. Another striking look is a nappa leather dress featuring intricate hand-sewn tubing, mimicking the curves of the human body. The presence of the snake, a symbol of renewal and energy in Gimbutas’s work, is undeniable. It slithers through the collection in the form of jacquard cashmere, hand-embroidered leather scales, and even genuine python, responsibly sourced from an Everglades conservation initiative.

The collection features handwoven cashmere from Manos del Uruguay, upcycled vintage mink, and recycled denim in rich earthy tones. Her innovative approach extends to accessories, introducing the Marija tote and the Amethyst bag, which echoes the house’s signature jewelry. Even the Ohio sneaker, made with responsibly sourced leather and recycled rubber soles, stays true to the brand’s eco-conscious ethos.
