After years of boundary-pushing presentations, Simone Rizzo and Loris Messina took a step back from theatrics to put the spotlight on what truly matters: the clothes. But did it work?

The show was staged outside Palazzina Sunnei, where models emerged carrying multiple SUNNEI shopping bags, reinforcing the notion that fashion is ultimately about buying and selling. It was a direct and almost cheeky way of stripping down the expectations around runway productions. Instead of over-explaining their intent, the designers let the product speak for itself.

The collection leaned into clean silhouettes with a mix of structured and relaxed tailoring. High-waisted pleated pants stood out, offering an effortless balance between polish and comfort. Sleeveless felted tops, sculpted with snap buttons, added a touch of armor-like modernity, often paired with matching skirts or pants. Textures played a key role, with fuzzy knits and mohair sweaters injecting warmth and depth into the lineup. A vibrant green capelike sweater and a gray slip dress with a delicate feather-trimmed collar were among the standout pieces.

SUNNEI’s signature athletic-inspired elements were still present but more subdued. Zippered tops, arm warmers, and padded vests blended seamlessly with the more refined pieces.
