For this collection, Maximilian Davis found inspiration in legendary choreographer Pina Bausch, known for her emotional, expressive dance. This collection captures her spirit through movement, fluidity, and subtle theatricality. Building on last season’s ballet theme, Davis transformed the runway into a dreamlike space scattered with red rose petals, nodding to Bausch’s Nelken and the iconic visuals of American Beauty. Petal details appeared on strappy heels and accessories, adding a delicate, romantic touch.

Bausch’s signature oversized outerwear was a key influence, but Davis softened traditional tailoring by using jersey fabrics, allowing for ease and flexibility. The collection balanced sharp structure with fluid movement—perfect for everyday wear with a hint of dance-inspired grace. Davis played with surreal elements, turning Ferragamo’s Hug bag into waist accessories and jacket pockets. Drop-waist dresses mixed textures like satin, lace, and shearling, while feathers were reversed for a unique ruffled effect. These playful details kept the collection fresh and imaginative.

A standout piece? A trench coat transformed into a sleek satin dress—unexpected yet effortless. Fur-trimmed flip-flops also made an appearance, adding a fun, luxurious feel. Every look felt like it belonged to a modern dancer—effortless, expressive, and refined.

Davis introduced a new Ferragamo archetype: the off-duty Pina Bausch dancer. Think elegant wool coats, silk nightgown-style dresses, and sheer flapper-inspired looks with lace and shearling. The restrained palette of red, camel, white, and black kept everything timeless. Ferragamo’s shoe legacy shined through with floral-adorned pumps and contemporary brogues

Davis isn’t here to shock—he’s here to refine. This collection isn’t about dramatic reinvention but about quietly pushing Ferragamo forward.
