Dilara Findikoglu is back, and she’s making sure no one forgets it. “Venus from Chaos,” was a full-on experience. The venue? A gritty, underground London club, the kind of place that feels like something legendary is about to go down. And it did.

Findikoglu played with contrast throughout the collection. Corsets, a staple in her work, were reimagined as armor—some molded from leather to hug the body like a second skin, others constructed from pearls, seashells, and rows of safety pins. Lace stockings peeked out from beneath slashed skirts, while sheer Victorian-inspired undergarments added an eerie, ethereal quality.

Hair became part of the clothing, with braided extensions woven into garments and shaggy, unkempt strands cascading over shoulders. Long, transparent layers wrapped models in a ghostly, goddess-like effect, while tattooed bodysuits, created with leather artisans Whitaker Malem, featured intricate hand-etched designs that mimicked ink on skin.

The collection also introduced a collaboration with Converse, where classic Chuck Taylors were reworked with pearls, pins, and worn-in distressing. Other pieces included ultra-tight leather pants, sculptural tops, and voluminous outerwear that balanced structured elements with fluidity.

Findikoglu isn’t interested in playing by the traditional fashion rules. She’s frustrated by the industry’s lack of imagination and wants fashion to feel exciting again. Her instructions to the models before the show? “Medieval rockstar, moody but ethereal, don’t give a f*ck but hypnotize.”

That energy was felt throughout. The collection was full of contrasts—soft versus hard, delicate versus rebellious. It wasn’t just about aesthetics; it was about attitude. Findikoglu sees fashion as an escape, a way to push boundaries and carve out a new space for women to express themselves. And in this show, she did just that.
