Christian Siriano knows how to put on a show! The venue, a stark industrial space in Chelsea, was transformed into a striking red fantasy, complete with lush red flowers, bold red chairs, and even a Toyota Crown parked in the center—a nod to his automotive inspiration (and a well-placed sponsorship).
Siriano’s love for glamour was on full display, but this season, he took a slightly more structured approach. The collection opened with bold black and red looks, evoking power and intensity. A standout was a corseted, latex-like gown with a laced-up back—sharp, sleek, and commanding attention. Then there was a blue cocooned mini dress that cleverly concealed one arm, bringing a sense of restriction and control, a theme that lingered throughout the show.
Siriano didn’t abandon the fantasy. Shimmering sequins, voluminous tulle, and daring silhouettes followed, proving he’s still the go-to designer for red-carpet-ready pieces. This season also saw a stronger push into menswear—or perhaps more accurately, gender-fluid fashion. Cropped tuxedos and ab-baring suits brought a new edge to his lineup. Hate to say it but Siriano’s ability to merge spectacle with wearability is what keeps him relevant.
The collection was a whimsical yet deeply personal exploration of fashion as an art form. While excessive, Cowan’s fans will embraced the extravagance. With this creative reset, he reminded us that fashion isn’t just about selling—it’s also about storytelling and self-expression.
