The show took on a futuristic vibe with neon lights, layered outfits, and a playful use of familiar Prada touches. The collection brought back Prada’s famous nylon fabric, first introduced in the 1980s. It was everywhere—padded coats, dresses, and even accessories like bags and shoes. The nylon pieces, often in bright neon colours, were paired with softer fabrics like tulle to create a unique mix of tough and delicate. Some of the dresses were body-hugging with reflective fringes, while the coats and parkas looked ready for cold weather.
Accessories were also a big part of the show. Prada revisited old favourites like its triangle logo and flame designs but gave them a fresh twist. There were bucket hats, quirky sunglasses, and eye-catching bags with robot and dinosaur prints. Even the shoes stood out—rubber boots, sneakers, and heels with nylon drawstrings.
Accessories played a key role, too, with a nostalgic nod to Prada’s archives—triangle logos, flame motifs, and playful prints. The entire collection had an edge that screamed individuality.
Let’s talk about that neon green fringe dress—an absolute showstopper. It’s one of those pieces that make you pause, appreciate, and remember why Prada is in a league of its own. Few looks manage to feel this impactful and iconic, but Miuccia nailed it.
The colours in the collection were impossible to miss. Bright neon greens, oranges, and pinks popped against more neutral backgrounds like black and khaki. This mix of vibrant and understated shades made the outfits feel impactful. What made this collection even more interesting was its deeper message. Miuccia Prada, the designer behind it all, talked about wanting women to feel strong and free, even in a world that can be unsettling at times. Her work is consistently forward-thinking, so much so that you almost need time to catch up to her vision.
