Staged in Paris’s haunting Conciergerie, the show was part gothic fantasy, part rebellious schoolyard, and all McQueen. White wolves watched over the runway, setting the tone for a collection that felt both dangerous and delicate.

Flowing princess dresses were toughened up with leather straps, while delicate lingerie-inspired outfits were paired with dramatic capes and wide sleeves. McQueen even brought back his low-rise “bumster” pants in shiny silver leather, alongside striped blazers and pleated skirts that gave a playful nod to school uniforms. Each piece blended sweetness with a rebellious twist.

The shapes were sleek and striking, with fitted waists and romantic necklines made daring with leather corsets and thigh-high boots. The final looks were unforgettable—puffy skirts, glittering beads, and a grand velvet coat with oversized sleeves.

This collection felt like a turning point—less reliant on theatrics, more focused on wearable drama. McQueen’s vision for empowered, vixenish women shone through.
