The Dance of the Twisted Bull, was a celebration of Spanish culture. Inspired by bullfighting and flamenco dancing, the show played on the tension between masculinity and femininity, a hallmark of McQueen’s work.

The runway was an ode to Spanish tradition, with scenes of bullfights projected on a screen and models wearing bicorn hats, matador jackets, and tiered flamenco skirts. Signature McQueen details—jewel-encrusted epaulettes, ruffles, and corsetry—brought drama to every look. One unforgettable dress, with banderillas supporting a dramatic train, exemplified McQueen’s flair for theatrical storytelling.

Despite the spectacle, McQueen’s tailoring shone. Razor-sharp jackets paired with pleated skirts, corset-laced tops layered over crisp shirts, and polka-dot frocks cinched with holster-inspired straps highlighted his mastery of structure. The combination of deconstructed elements—like a blood-red señorita dress with an attached jacket—and wearable, well-crafted pieces proved McQueen’s commercial versatility.
