Titled “Walrus,” the collection drew inspiration from the idea of change and survival in a world that often feels precarious. The show began with a striking holographic invitation that transformed a man into a walrus, symbolizing resilience in the face of environmental challenges.

As models descended spiral metal stairs to the sound of Neil Young’s “After the Goldrush,” the atmosphere was set for a journey through Owens’ vision. The collection featured flowing silhouettes in soft, pale greys that twisted and draped elegantly, creating an ethereal effect. This was contrasted with rich earthy tones—purples, yellows, browns, and blues—that echoed the beauty of nature and our connection to the Earth.

Owens’ designs were not just about aesthetics; they embodied a deeper message about spiritual awakening and the importance of evolving with our surroundings. The garments showcased Grecian-inspired draping, reminiscent of classical couture, yet infused with a modern sensibility. The collection’s presentation was as captivating as the clothes themselves. Models moved gracefully through an underground space, their layered outfits flowing like specters caught in a moment of transition.
