This collection was inspired by Marlene Dietrich’s rendition of “Baubles, Bangles and Beads,” blending lightness with architectural weight. He reimagined tulle, creating structured smocks with flares resembling suppressed tutus, adorned with textures and serpentine embroidery. The show opened with sleeveless garments that resembled housecoats but were anything but ordinary.

Crafted from fine mesh tulle, these pieces layered gracefully, creating a sense of movement and airiness. The color palette was soft yet striking, incorporating icy blues, khakis, peaches, and browns, showcasing a new lyrical mood complemented by classical music. Owens’ designs liberated tulle from its traditional associations, resulting in striking silhouettes that echoed industrial beauty while maintaining a playful edge.

Owens also incorporated his signature leather into the collection, transforming it into multi-sleeved jackets that were both sculptural and wearable. The combination of materials added depth to the looks, with padded satin complementing the supple leather.
