This collection was a love letter to the legendary Parisian nightclub, Le Palace. A hub of glamour and excess in the 1980s, it was where icons like Grace Jones, Mick Jagger, and Yves Saint Laurent danced the night away. Gaultier transformed his runway into a recreation of the club’s doors, complete with models sipping champagne, smoking, and exuding carefree joy.

This collection was all about fun and freedom. Gaultier’s designs captured the eclectic style of Le Palace regulars, from glittering overalls reminiscent of Grace Jones to slinky evening gowns and menswear-inspired smoking jackets. Jackets were a standout, whether as leather moto styles paired with gowns or menswear cuts tied with braided sashes. Sparkling embellishments like sequins, crystals, and pearls added a sense of extravagance to relaxed silhouettes.

Accessories, too, were playful and bold—pillbox hats, leather gloves, and beaded scarves stood out. Hairstyles ranged from punk-inspired crops to teased, voluminous locks. Gaultier’s tribute wasn’t just fashion; it was a celebration of individuality and the joy of dressing up. This collection wasn’t just couture; it was a glittering, wearable party.
