Gaultier took us on a global journey, mixing the frosty elements of winter with the warmth of India. He drew inspiration from traditional Indian saris, showcasing the beauty of draped fabrics, alongside modern, winter-ready pieces like puffer vests and bobble hats. The collection was a tactile masterpiece, featuring intricate textures created through couture techniques such as Irish crocheting and detailed beadwork, each taking hours of meticulous craftsmanship. Some of the most striking looks included reimagined saris and sleek hooded capes, with touches of Swarovski crystals adding an extra layer of luxury. he reimagined sarees leaned towards a bulky silhouette in some instances—missing the fluid elegance one associates with the traditional Indian garment. Perhaps incorporating pashminas into the draping could have added a lighter, more graceful touch.
