The pieces feel like they’ve been assembled with the carefree imagination of a child, yet they carry the sophistication of a master designer. Fabrics are twisted, draped, and patched together in a way that feels intentional, despite their apparent chaos. The collection stays true to Yamamoto’s signature dark palette with black and white dominating, but the unexpected pops of red and navy blue keep things exciting.

The show opened with asymmetrical black dresses, their jagged edges and sheer details creating a mysterious and moody vibe. The models, styled with chunky sandals and dramatic hats, looked as if they were walking through a dream-like scene, the pieces almost floating off their bodies. As the collection progressed, we saw more playful elements, like knotted yarns and bold cut-outs, giving a sense of lighthearted experimentation.

Yamamoto’s genius is in how he makes chaos look so put-together, turning deconstruction into something totally wearable and undeniably cool.
