Hosted at Marni’s headquarters, the show’s minimalistic setup with scattered seating and live piano accompaniment by Dev Hynes created an intimate atmosphere. This allowed the focus to remain on the garments, which showcased Risso’s continued evolution in merging the whimsical with the refined.

Risso’s designs started with monochromatic, form-fitting silhouettes, transitioning into voluminous, structured pieces that blended elements of the 1950s and 1980s. These ranged from tailored blazers and cropped chemises to oversized jackets and ballooning skirts, punctuated by floral patterns and embroidered evening dresses. The use of cotton throughout, as Risso explained, symbolized purity and resilience, aligning with his vision of “chasing beauty.”

The collection struck a balance between high-concept artistry and wearable fashion. While some looks were avant-garde, like the sculptural hats and exaggerated skirts, others leaned toward everyday wear with tailored shirts and slip dresses. Risso’s signature playful approach was evident in the Napoleonic hats, bold prints, and polka-dot suiting, adding a sense of irreverence. Risso’s use of oversized silhouettes, exaggerated shoulders, and ballooning skirts created a sense of drama and volume, while the intricate embroidery and floral prints added opulence.
