Under the creative direction of Sabato De Sarno, the house presented a collection that sought to blend classic Gucci elements with a contemporary, casual aesthetic. De Sarno’s vision for the collection was rooted in a concept he termed “casual grandeur.” This approach aimed to combine the elegance and sophistication associated with Gucci’s heritage with a more relaxed and everyday-wearable style. The designer drew inspiration from the iconic Jacqueline Kennedy, whose ability to effortlessly blend European sophistication with American ease resonated with his own design philosophy.

The collection featured a range of pieces that reflected De Sarno’s vision. Tailored garments, such as rounded jackets and pencil skirts, were juxtaposed with more casual sportswear elements like zip-front jackets and slit-front trousers. The brand’s signature horsebit motif was reimagined in various forms, including accessories and footwear.
