Maximilian Davis’s Ferragamo continues to redefine the brand’s identity, merging its rich history with contemporary elements. Davis’s design aesthetic is evident throughout the collection, combining elements of his Caribbean heritage, London club culture, and eccentricity.

Drawing from archival moments such as Salvatore Ferragamo fitting dancer Katherine Dunham and crafting custom ballet shoes for Rudolf Nureyev, the collection highlights the intersection of movement and craftsmanship. Davis translates this inspiration into designs that reflect a sense of freedom and grace, evident in oversized opera coats, parachute dresses, and wrap tops that evoke the aesthetics of off-duty dancers. These pieces, constructed from silk, nylon, and suede, provide a sense of fluidity and elegance, all while maintaining a functional edge.

Incorporating his Caribbean roots, Davis introduces frayed, stonewashed denim and raw textures, juxtaposing the refined silhouettes with a more relaxed, grounded energy. The rubber jelly moccasins and frayed details provide a raw departure from the otherwise sleek and minimal designs, offering a contemporary take on the house’s classic codes. The intricate leatherwork, particularly the Gancini mesh and perforated satchel bags, maintains Ferragamo’s dedication to craftsmanship while pushing creative boundaries. hink wrap tops, leotards, and parachute dresses that scream “off-duty dancer” but with a high-fashion twist. The oversized trench coats and silk opera coats flow with movement, making everything feel light and breezy. The earthy color palette of beiges, greens, and brick reds gets a fresh pop with vibrant blues and reds, keeping things interesting.
