Inspired by the Hungarian-American conceptual artist Agnes Denes and her iconic land art work “Wheatfield – A Confrontation,” the collection explores the relationship between humanity and the natural world.  Ilincic’s designs reflect this theme through organic tailoring, neutral palettes, and tactile elements like raffia and tinsel, reminiscent of wheat fields blowing in the wind. The collection’s structured yet fluid silhouettes evoke a balance between urbanity and nature, paralleling the tension in Denes’ art between environmental preservation and industrial expansion.

The show’s opening pieces featured organic neutral tailoring and fluffy raffia dresses, evoking the imagery of a wheat field gently blowing in the wind. Tailored coats and jackets with circular cutouts, as well as fluid dresses made from luxurious fabrics such as silk twill and liquid velvet, embody a harmonious blend of structure and softness. The designer’s focus on craftsmanship is evident in sculptural bows and hand-pleated details, reminiscent of nature’s organic forms. The neutral palette and architectural shapes gradually evolved into an explosion of gathered, draped, knotted, and cascading color, culminating in a sense of rebirth.
