Well, the Versace hot streak has broken, this collection was not it. Heavy on celebrity runway appearances the collection was either all-black looks or neon flashlight colors. A collision of 80s excess and 90s cool defines Versace’s latest collection, channelling the party-fueled atmosphere of Miami Beach. Drawing inspiration from Versace’s iconic silk foulard prints, the collection sees classic house motifs reimagined in a riot of colour and texture. Trademark animal prints, florals, and geometric patterns dance across flowing silks, transitioning seamlessly from sleek black leather to neon explosions. Donatella Versace fearlessly mixes and matches textures, layering sequins, feathers, and beads for a touch of opulent decadence.

While celebrating its heritage, the collection doesn’t shy away from a sportier side. Basketball silks, pyjama sets, and logo tees bring a casual coolness to the mix, hinting at a distinct 90s influence. Overall, it’s a bold and unapologetic ode to Versace’s rich history, reimagined for a generation that craves both retro glam and edge. Colourful chainmail, low-hung skirts, and neon La Greca were some overdone elements here. The collection seemed to be inspired by Versace hits (maybe Versace counterfeit?).
