I can only think of Yasmeen Ghauri in that yellow corset dress, which I’m convinced must have been on Versace’s moodboards. It was all corsets and bustiers here this time. I’m considerably shocked at how disappointing this collection was. There were miniskirts, shoulder pads, latex boots, puffer coats, glitter houndstooth, cargo pants and loads more.
The overall vibe is sleek and sexy, featuring corsets, satin dresses, and latex tights that add an element of allure. Bodycon dresses with daring cutouts, miniskirts paired with over-the-knee boots, and leather jackets casually slung over slinky slip dresses create a bold and contemporary aesthetic. The inclusion of tweed blazers, platform heels, and pearls adds a touch of sophistication. Versace plays with a mix of textures and materials, combining satin and leather with wool and knitwear.
Clearly, this got very messy very fast. Brownie points to Versace providing seductive yet modest looks; sexed-up items that don’t rely on revealing skin.
