Julien Dossena skillfully interwove contemporary influences with historical elements, crafting a composite portrait of powerful women. Dossena’s women traversed time, embracing power in all its forms — fierce, feminine, vulnerable, and resolute. This collection was a conversation between past and present, a testament to the enduring strength and multifaceted beauty of womanhood.

The garments, inspired by historical clothing, underwent a radical transformation under Dossena’s direction. Hoods, ruffs, capes, and slender maxi-coats seamlessly coexisted with voluminous brocade dresses adorned with fragile lace and flower embroideries. Victorian lace collars, sheer organza, and body-skimming chain mail conveyed a nuanced play of textures and materials, further enriched by structured, almost medieval, tailored coats. The collection masterfully navigated between resilience and womanhood. The juxtaposition of chain mail against soft silks and velvets, coupled with nods to Paco Rabanne’s space-age heritage through metallics and geometric shapes.
