Say Hi to Traffic Couture! The collection is so easy to read that it almost feels basic or frivolous. But that is the beauty of Jeremy Scott’s work. As always so unapologetically, open and obvious about his inspiration and execution, it is impossible not to love. Accessories, like veiled hard hats and toolbox bags, added visual puns, while uptown chic met streetwear influences in neon Chanel-style suits and voluminous mini ball gowns.

It is what the details do for me – they stand out in a sea of references. How we see it on the runway is not how a customer purchases it. Rarely do customers, buy the whole look, it is the fun and joy of wearing a tiny little piece for a statement. Be it a traffic cone bag or a swimsuit with a NO SWIMSUIT sign stamped right in the center of it. The finale featuring drive-through car wash-inspired eveningwear, epitomized Scott’s audacious aesthetic.
