Galliano revisits classic couture here, I don’t think I have seen a conventional collection by him. But that doesn’t mean it wasn’t crafted beautifully -the craftsmanship was clearly stunning. There were skirt suits with sheer skirts, massive coats and tulle-loaded gowns in mostly a restrained color palette with pops of pretty pastels. A blend of the 50s and the new look resulted in some expectedly chic clothes that we cannot really relate to, but pretty to look at.
