Moschino by Jeremy Scott has always been a pioneer of the unexpected-this time it was Jackie Kennedy-esque suits. Even with all the randomness, this was one of the most toned down and subverted Collections by Scott. He created this kitschy collection fueled by his obsession with conspiracy theories. Moschino’s playful aesthetic, like past collections referencing McDonald’s and Barbie, has a devoted following, favoring joy over philosophy. The show featured vibrant 1960s-style skirtsuits and ball gowns merging retro elegance with modern flair.
Vibrant hues adorned 62 looks, echoing her signature tweed suits and pillbox hats, while models flaunted head-to-toe neon body paint, giving a futuristic twist to the elegant bouffant hairstyle. A significant take on typical 50s Americana glam along with the perfect housewife aesthetic that is thankfully now is dead. The closing looks shifted to glamorous evening wear with crystal details, silky drapes, graphic cut-outs and elegant trains.
