Picture the Chapultepec Castle in Mexico City, the inspirational backdrop for this collection. When inspired by Mexican opulence and the looks were sure to be regal. The colors were magnificent, the details were exquisite and the fabrics were so lush. The shades of pink, blue, and lime gowns were mesmerizing. Not a fan of belts but they worked really well here and the complimenting scarfs were a great addition. The embellishments used to cinch the waist were quite beautiful. The golden shimmer that bathed the collection was a highlight, with intricate details of embroideries, florals, and pearls – Sequins, crystals, and gold thread gild everything. This actually might be my favorite Elie Saab collection!
