This collection was almost slowing down with a focus on the cloud-like exaggerated silhouettes Marc Jacobs has been tooling with for the past couple of seasons. Jacobs expands on these concepts through monochrome looks, oversized garments, and enormous proportions. The collection features a restrained neutral color palette with pops of striking red and soft yellow. We also see some of the mega-high platforms that Jacobs has embedded into every fashion girl’s heart. In a fusion of deconstruction and glamour, cargo pants are transformed into skirts, monograms turn into fringe, and plastic paillettes are adorned with post-apocalyptic flair.
