This collection ‘Le Raphia’ embraces a midcentury couture spirit with its signature Jacquemus but dramatic clothes. Drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry of bygone eras, the collection exuded a sense of reverence for craftsmanship and attention to detail. Seductive cuts danced alongside classic resort influences, breathing new life into age-old styles and redefining the boundaries of fashion innovation. Some standouts were sexy cut-outs, sculptural skirts, gigantic sunhats, fluffy totes, flirty prints, draped ultra miniskirts and relaxed blazers.

With natural textures and subtle summery colors guided by classic silhouettes; this collection is almost like a Jacquemus comeback. The looks acted as a bridge, connecting the dots between Jacquemus’ early influences and his current creative prowess, showcasing a rich tapestry of experiences that have shaped him as a French Fashion Flagbearer. This collection homage to the designer’s roots; I love to see it. He excels at emotion; we need to see more of it.
