Inspired by the rebellious spirit of stylist Judy Blame; Gareth Pugh’s tribute show to the late Blame is an ode to his uncompromising creativity. Gareth Pugh pays homage to Judy Blame with bold prints, bold colors and bold silhouettes.
His designs evoke powerful emotions with their moody yet powerful aesthetics. Gareth Pugh revisited the core signatures that have come to define his work. Pugh’s innate ability to channel his creative vision into every intricate element of his designs was on full display, as each garment pulsated with energy. The collection exuded strength and confidence, with a notable emphasis on impeccably tailored garments.
Though he’s been away from the fashion scene, in fact, this was his last collection I could find. I hope we see more of his work soon, till then this masterpiece reminds us of his unparalleled talent.
