While the arcane rules demand 50 handmade outfits for Haute Couture, Tisci defied convention with 12 piece collection, but the results are pure magic. Tisci showcased his ingenuity by curating a compact yet impactful assemblage.

Liberation transcends a specific look or theme, allowing Givenchy muses to embrace individuality. His ‘couture’ statement was amplified by intricate details like crystal on tulle, snakeskin and velvet patchworks, and lace with leather. From floor-length gowns draping over shoulders to shimmering outerwear, each garment exudes allure. Crystal-studded tulle, snakeskin patchworks, embroidered capes, military-inspired coats, and pleated draping create a seductive and powerful aesthetic.

I’m super nostalgic for Riccardo Tisci’s Givenchy; it was an era to remember. The creativity, innovation, and intellect that Tisci brought to Givenchy was unparalleled. The juxtaposition of dark romanticism and urban chic gave birth to a new aesthetic that resonated deeply with a generation hungry for bold self-expression.
