This bee-inspired collection is the perfect blend of sweetness and sharpness. The collection features the revival of heritage silhouettes with a modern twist, featuring wasp waists and constructed hips. Cages, corsets, and crinolines take on new life here. From gold-on-black jacquard outfits with iridescent ripples to bee-studded vamp gear, the runway was a visual feast.

Molded resin bustier tops, honeycomb pencil skirts, cropped paneled trousers, tailored jackets, intricate weaves, lacquered lace, and laser-cut patent leather—the grand finale showcased breathtaking 19th-century evening gowns adorned with blooms and bees, revealing a hint of seductive allure. Undressing and layering simultaneously, Burton turned traditional underpinnings into exquisite eveningwear.

I admire Sarah’s ability to draw inspiration from every aspect of her season’s theme. She finds inspiration in everything related to bees, including their colors, body shapes, diet, creations, and habitats. Her talent for incorporating these elements into her work is truly remarkable. Sarah Burton’s designs celebrate the matriarchal society of these incredible creatures, blending heritage silhouettes with a touch of theatricality. A sweet symphony of honey-based hues and bee-inspired motifs is one of Sarah Burton’s best!
