The clothes were pure Snowtastic Chic! Karl Lagerfeld spared no expense when it came to orchestrating a Chanel runway, effortlessly blurring the lines between reality and fantasy. In his signature style, he breathes life into the clothes’ with a mesmerizing set; this time it’s a colossal 28-foot-tall, 265-ton iceberg from Sweden standing resolute in the centre.
If I ever go on a Polar vacation; I have my mood board ready. Faux fur merged with couture-like silhouettes against an icy landscape. and rock-crystal embellishments mesmerized. Amidst it all, innovative knitwear stole the show, including stunning Angora sweater dresses, Lavishly embroidered coats, icy jewellery, floor-sweeping coats and ice-block heels. From the Eskimo-ish colour palette that ranged from frosty whites to dirt browns, to the intricate embellishments reminiscent of delicate snowflakes to massive glaciers. My fav? the fur boots paired with almost every look!
