This collection combined Alaïa’s and Mulier’s best – creating a harmonious fusion that balanced reverence for tradition with a forward-thinking drive. His sophisticated design sensibilities elevate the seductive appeal of the clothes that Azzedine pioneered. This was only his third collection for the brand and yet he has found his feet so early. It is remarkable to see his efficient understanding and celebration of the brand legacy while still keeping it relevant for today’s clientele.

It’s all about simplicity and complexity at the same time. Rooted in the traditions of haute couture, Alaïa combines the meticulousness of tailoring with the freedom of fabric that moves with the body. The collection featured delicious draping, sheer fabrics and second akin silhouettes. Some standout items were impeccably crafted outerwear, pearl-loaded necks, tempting midriff cutouts and elegant mermaid skirts. From jersey to leather to sequins – every material was draped precisely. Mulier adds a timeless touch to every look, reminding us that Alaïa’s legacy is always thriving.
