A sunny heartfelt kick-off to the somewhat dull NYFW Spring 2022. Hillary Taymour showcased the best collection yet and I am very much here for it. Called ‘SNAILS PACE’ this playful and exuberant collection transported us to a carefree childhood. Hillary Taymour’s vision was brought to life with the help of an array of colors, prints, and designs that blended seamlessly to create a fun and energetic atmosphere. Taymour used ethical materials – including a partnership with Levi’s, recycled jewelry, and sustainable swimwear.
The grounded styling reminds one of 2010s teenage dress up and those candid home videos; Models dancing, running, smiling and walking through the sun-kissed rooftop farm(major bonus points to the diverse casting). Cargo pants, ruched slinky dresses, star splattered jeans, cutout bodysuits were the stars here with some dangerously joyful prints.
Clothes that exude happiness! Honestly what more would you need?
