This season, the indomitable spirit of the Versace woman shines through with a touch of buoyancy and an unabashed embrace of maximalism. The spirit of the collection centered on reworking Versace microfloral prints into club-worthy body-con silhouettes.

Versace really turned around their safe-traditional aesthetic with this collection, further accentuated by their Spring 2018. Bigger & bolder equals Better – this collection was the beginning of Versace’s turnaround for a youthful audience with more powerful seductive building upon their iconic 90s era.

The collection was full of bold patterns, from stripes to plaid to micro-floral designs. Versace departed from their traditional style and used neon colors and power-clashing plaids. The collection included PVC totes, patchwork dresses, satin midis, and ultra-flared pants. The clothes were figure-hugging, short, sheer, and had high slits. We also saw a lot of tailored pieces – jackets, trenches, dresses, skirts and of course bags.

Versace, known for its boldness and inclusivity, empowering people to express themselves – this collection reflects that philosophy. Once again, Versace has shown that excess is the name of the game.
