Named ‘Bleached Canvas’ this collection acts as a clean canvas for Givenchy Couture. Through this collection Clare Waight Keller had set her vision for the house; a vision that honors the heritage and history of the brand but is also deeply seductive. This collection was one more step towards this vision with just the right amount of modernity. The silhouettes speak for themselves; sharp, bold and feminine. Yet the clothes constructed to perfection carried a delicate sense of freedom.
Vibrant pops of color accentuated the clothes along with the exemplary craftsmanship and techniques. There were second-skin latex leggings, multicolor mega fringe, big bow-shaped backpacks, feather adornments and glitter-painted faces. The juxtaposition of delicate lace and seductive latex reflects on the contrast between old and new; A white structure lace coat worn with black latex leggings. A master collection in calm glam.
