The Lacroix legacy began with this collection; the first Couture house to open after two decades. Big poufy silhouettes, kaleidoscopic colors and a whole lot of 80s extravagance – the essence of almost every Lacroix show. Inspirations ranged from Balenciaga to Dior and military to surrealism. Regal prints, lux brocade, fur coats, immaculate draping and statement hats were some recurring favorites here.
