This is the collection that truly defined and solidified Casey Cadwallader’s vision for Mugler. This was the beginning of all the aesthetics that are now part of the new Mugler DNA, from spiral denim to cropped blazers. Thierry Mugler’s archives were blended well with streetwear/athleisure aesthetics. Super sharp structured tailoring was one of the key moments here. Shapewear-esque mesh dresses in multiple colors were hot times hundreds along with a vivid blue ruched mini dress. Seductive details were a constant in every look; be it a high thigh cut or sheer corsets. This collection was quite a moment; Reels of Bella Hadid opening the runway still go viral.
